House Morningstar Custom Work Page

House Morningstar is able to do custom work on the clothing that we manufacture. The most frequently requested custom work is to add a heraldic image to our Surcoats which we do as an applique to the garment. Each piece is cut out by hand, heat fused to the garment, satin stitched around all the cut edges and details stitched on the piece. This type of work is a very labor intensive process and is best done while the garment is being constructed but will result in a very durable garment that is also a piece of wearable art.

These are Surcoats that House Morningstar created for customers based upon arms or designs that were submitted by the customer. The Drawings were done by House Morningstar from the customer's arms or designs and sent to the customer so that the customer could visualize the Surcoat before the garment was made. The Drawing selected by the customer is shown next to the photos of the finished garment.
