After establishing a web presence over 12 years ago, the House Morningstar website  moved to a new Host; Network Solutions in the summer of 2006. We are building a completely new website at this time to give you the opportunity to view and purchase our products. Please check back on a regular basis as we add content and new photographs.

House Morningstar manufactures historical clothing and accessories for use by those individuals who participate in Reenactment, Renaissance Fairs and Role Playing. We strive to produce quality items that are durable enough to be used by participants in the SCA, LARP groups and Performers & Patrons at Fairs and Festivals. Our clothing has been used in several movie and TV productions, most notably the History Channel production of "Conquest of America" for which we supplied the shirts used in the Southeast episode (French vs. Spanish in Florida) and The Northeast episode (Henry Hudson).

2006 marked the 20th anniversary of House Morningstar starting to manufacture clothing and other goods for sale. Since 1990  we had a "brick and mortar" store which we were forced to close in June 2005 due to eminent domain for the construction of a retention pound. We miss our customers being able to come visit with us at that location; and while we are reestablishing our business model, customers can still visit us at the Texas Renaissance Festival, the Medieval Fair in Norman Oklahoma and the Pennsic War. We also have an e-Bay store and auctions listings which we invite you view for more examples of our products.

We welcome inquiries about our products and if you have any questions, please contact us.

We want to let you know that Jane't passed away suddenly on May 22nd at 4:27am from an acute myocardial infarction. James has taken over the business and is slowly learning how to do his job. Our fall show schedule is being set now and we will post it as soon as all the shows are confirmed.

We are adding new pages to our website. Please check back on a regular basis as we expand the products that you can view and purchase, as well as share some of the photos of our shows and adventures with you.

Please be aware that many of our pages are graphic intensive.

Visit us at the 2008 Texas Renaissance Festival in Todd Mission Texas (Booth #231) weekends from October 11 through November 30.

House Morningstar will be unable to attend Pennsic War this year due to the sudden death of Mistress Jane't, but we have made arrangements with Cindy Cooper, the Merchant Coordinator, to ship purchased items that were promised to be delivered at Pennsic to the Merchant's Shipping Center. We would like to thank Ms. Cooper for her kind assistance in allowing us this special favor.
