House Morningstar

This is to give you an idea of the clothing that we make that is suitable for wearing to attend or work at a Renaissance Fair. We will be adding items and updating this page on a regular basis.

These are some of the other styles of Bodices that are designed and manufactured by House Morningstar. These bodices patterns are based on historical garments and patterns.

The Chemise shown is our German Chemise. It has a drawstring neck that produces a ruffle at the neckline and can be worn close to the neck or off the shoulder. The  German Chemise also has a draw string at the wrists which cause the sleeves to end in a ruffle as well. This drawstring allows the wearer to tie the sleeve above the elbow and produce a three quarter length sleeve which is helpful when the wearer is working.  As with all our standard chemises, it is made of 100 % Cotton Muslin and is also machine washable and dry able.

The Skirt is made from the same Poplin as our Bodices and therefore also machine washable and dry able.  It is pleated into a waistband that is closed by lacing at the back. This is not a one size, drawstring skirt, but rather sized and pleated to eliminate any uncomfortable bulk.

For the men, House Morningstar makes a number of different styles of shirts from 100 % Cotton Muslin which are machine washable and dry able. The are available in White, several shades of Off-White and a number of colors including Black, Forest Green Blue and Red.

This is House Morningstar's Italian Shirt. The body and the sleeves are pleated into narrow band collar and cuffs with fixed ties at the neck and wrists.
